Cunningham Children?s Home has announced that the 24th Annual Kendall Gill Golf Scramble will take place on Monday, July 15, at the University of Illinois Orange Course in Savoy. The golf outing is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Savoy and the Kiwanis Club of Champaign County. All proceeds will benefit the children and youth of Cunningham.
Flyin? Illini great Kendall Gill and his wife, Wendy, will once again host the event. Kendall Gill?s former coach, Lou Henson, and his wife, Mary, will also be in attendance this year. Henson plans to hit a putt with each foursome as the complete the ninth hole. Gill and Henson will also be joined by Gill?s teammate Steve Bardo and the manager for the Flyin? Illini team, Ryan Baker of CBS sports in Chicago.
Jennifer Shelby and Shelby Motors have underwritten the event since its inception. With the sale of Shelby Motors to David Taylor, this year?s event is underwritten by Jennifer Shelby and Champaign Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram. Because of that, all registration fees and sponsorships go directly to support programs at Cunningham.

11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Check-in
Noon - Lunch
1 p.m. - Shotgun start
5:30 p.m. ? Steak dinner
